Each server renews automatically until you cancel, in one step in HQ, and we email you before each renewal. Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Founder offer: 10% off your server plan for the first 12 months (on your first server only, for the first 200 accounts that pay, one per person; closes at 200 or on 31 March 2027). 72-hour full refund on your first purchase (one per customer). A thread is half of a processor core; bursts use idle processor time on the machine, so they aren’t guaranteed.

Both run in the one server. Turn the Caves on or off in Settings.
Your Klei server token
Paste your token once in Settings. HQ keeps it private and never shows it back.
World settings in a form
Game mode, play style, player versus player, pausing when empty and how many saves to roll back.
Slots locked to your plan
Player slots are set from your plan on every start.
Always the current build
Players must match the server’s game version, so HQ keeps it on the public branch.

How players join
Players join from the address HQ shows on your server page, or the share link that opens a page with these steps.
Mods and loaders
Add a ServerModSetup line for each Workshop mod to mods/dedicated_server_mods_setup.lua with Files, switch it on in modoverrides.lua for the Master and the Caves, then restart. The server downloads the mods itself and players get them when they join.
HQ stops the server, writes the file, checks it and starts it again. Each save can be undone on its own with Undo this change.
Good to know before you buy
What Don't Starve Together on Exclsv can’t do, or does differently.
- Every player needs Don’t Starve Together on Steam and the same game version as the server.
- You need your own Klei server token from accounts.klei.com. The server can’t start or be listed without one.
- PlayStation players can’t join a PC server.
- Workshop mods are added by editing two files for now; an in-HQ mod picker comes later.

How do I join my Don’t Starve Together server?
Choose Browse Games and search for the server’s name, or open the console with the ~ key and paste the connect line from HQ.
Why isn’t my server in Browse Games?
It needs your Klei server token. Make one at accounts.klei.com, paste it in Settings, then restart.
Can I turn the Caves off?
Yes, in Settings, then restart the server.
How do I add Workshop mods?
Add a ServerModSetup line for each mod to mods/dedicated_server_mods_setup.lua, enable it in modoverrides.lua for the Master and the Caves, and restart.
