Pause a server for £1 a month

Updated 3 November 2026 · 2 minute read · Paid servers, from Billing in HQ · By Exclsv Support

Pause your server for £1 a month. Your world, backups and address stay exactly as they are, for up to 3 months.

How pausing works

1. In HQ, open Billing and choose the server.
2. Choose Pause, pick 1, 2 or 3 months and confirm.
3. The server stops. You pay £1 a month while it is on pause, the add-ons come off, and the unused days of your plan are paid back to your card (or kept as credit, if you choose).

What to know first

• You can pause after the 72-hour and 14-day refund windows, not during them.
• Up to 3 months in a row, and at most 6 months on pause in any 12.
• It isn’t offered for free servers or servers paid for with a 100% code.

When the pause ends

We email you 14 days and 3 days before it ends. You can resume at any time: the full price starts from that day and the £1 is credited for the days you didn’t use. If you do nothing, we don’t resume the server and we charge nothing more: the plan ends and the final backup of your world stays downloadable for 30 days.
